03. Creating God’s Family (Part1)

Wow! What a Message this is! A living and personal invitation from the Creator himself for each of us to become his child! It is absolutely amazing and mind boggling.

But what is behind all of this? A heart; A nature; A dream and A Covenant.

We need to take a little time to understand the motivation behind the invitation and what took place before the Message – Messenger arrived in the world.

God, the Creator, is by nature LOVE. He does not have love, HE IS LOVE. The human vocabulary and understanding are not capable of comprehending the dimension of the word LOVE as well as the word God and so many others; but to God, love is his nature; and all of his being, thinking and existence operates within that nature: Love.

One of the main characteristics of divine love is the giving of one’s self; and that is what we see imprinted on all of creation: “The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows his handiwork” (Psa19:1) The universe, the atom and everything in between are both evidence of his wisdom, power, eternity and many other attributes of his character but above all of his love; because in all and each creature there are needs and these are met and provided by the Creator himself. Earth is a planet full of glory and full of needs, God renews the face of the earth continuously. Human science started to understand in the 20th century that our planet is in a constant state of regeneration; the Creator established that in eternity past and declared it to be so on the very first day of his creation upon earth.

So love by nature needs to give of himself, and the greatest gift is that of procreation or to reproduce one’s self. This is God’s greatest and most treasured dream: His very own family: Children that are just like He is: LOVE!

This dream has been alive in the Creator’s heart eternally and nothing will dissuade him from it; nothing will take priority over it; nothing will be spared and all of himself is committed to the realization of his purpose: This is the covenant part of LOVE. It is forever and it spares no expense including that of one’s self.

So how would God go about getting this done?

In the book of beginnings: Genesis, we are allowed to see how the Creator, creates:

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

“Now the earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep. God’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.”

“God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.” (Gen 1:1-3 web)

His Spirit makes himself present at the site where creation will take place and then the Creator SPEAKS the LIVING WORD and what he says gets created! It is an amazing and mighty event that was declared to us in the message regarding the Word, remember? “All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.” and “In Him was life” – That is how creation takes place: God speaks; the Living Word goes to the object of creation and the Spirit of God performs the Word resulting in the birthing of what was spoken by the Creator! Amazing!

This is how everything on earth was created and established as well as the universe, everything is ruled, by his Word.

However, all the resulting creatures had no say in the matter. They were created at his will and pleasure and perfectly follow their stated purpose and design. They clearly manifest the Creator’s glory and majesty, but they are not like him. Each depends on him, each has the expression of his character, much as an art object carries the expression of the artist’s mind and character, but it is not the reproduction of the artist himself. The painting, sculpture, song, poem or any other form of art expresses parts and pieces of the artist’s personality, but they can not go about replicating the artist. This is the challenge before the Creator: For the purpose of creating his own family, He is not intent on the making of more creatures; his intent is the procreation of himself in his children!

There is one very important, fundamental principle that must be observed in the creation of his family: Each has to choose of their own free will to be a child, a member of his family. None of the children will be the result of the father’s imposition, it will be their own individual choice! Only then, can they grow into beings like He is: LOVE.

This is so important to understand! A cow has no say so in the matter, it was created a cow and a cow it is; existing to fulfill its role and place in the ecosystem. But a child of the Creator can not be subject to an existence that imprisons him or her, because the Creator is not imprisoned by his nature: Love is true freedom. So God set out to bring about a masterful plan which would result in the realization of his dream.

This is where you and I, and every person on earth, from the very first to the very last, come into the picture. God went about creating his family by first birthing a creature with the design and potential to become his child: MAN!

“And God said, let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness..”

“And God created the man in His own image; in the image of God He created him. He created them male and female.” (Gen 1:26-27 litv)

Man is a very different and special creature. It shares the similarities inherent to all creatures because it shares his origin from the same source: The same Creator. But then, MAN is totally different, in that his design and purpose are absolutely exclusive to him. Both, male and female of the species MAN were created in the Creator’s image and according to His Likeness. These characteristics are at our very core! We may well behave like animals at times, but our core tells us we should be better than that! Why? Because we were created with a higher purpose than being MAN. WE WERE CREATED SO THAT BEING MAN, WE COULD EACH CHOOSE TO BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD!

So you see? Being man is a transitional phase of our existence. It is designed to be the perfect answer to the riddle! How amazing and awesome is the Creator’s wisdom! He birthed a creature made in his own image, with the capacity to develop his likeness; the perfect creature to make the all important choice: Accept, or reject the invitation to be made into a child of God?
