42. What is Mercy made out of?

Let’s take time in this episode to consider what Mercy – our amazing environment is made of.
This is as important to us, as understanding our physical environment is to life on Earth: It is a matter of survival! Run out of air or inhale gases that are not the specific make up of our breathing needs and damage or death occurs to our physical body. Mercy encompasses much more than the physical realm of our existence, it transcends into the realms of the spirit and the soul.
We will make use of analogies and parallels to help us grasp the constitution of Mercy, then, in other episodes we will look at the delivery systems it contains to assure we are served with all of it’s contents to the achievement of our Father’s dream.

In general, environment refers to the surroundings of an object. (Wikipedia) The book of Genesis clearly describes how Earth’s environment was made into a perfect ecosystem that would make the planet inhabitable for the purpose of it’s creation: To surround Man with all the provision necessary for his existence and enjoyment.
So as you read the first chapter of Genesis you can clearly see that there was a perfect plan which unfolded to bring about this amazing environment which is unique to all that we know in our universe. What is Earth’s environment made out of?
The content of this section is by no means intended as a lecture on ecology or environmental science. It is only intended to illustrate the basic composition of an environment we are familiar with but may ignore the innards of its complex functioning. Yet, it provides what we naturally use to exist within it!
Earth’s environment is made of key components and chains of products that together provide a balanced and predictable state in which physical life can exist, multiply and regenerate.
The key components as we understand them today are: Radiation – which includes heat, temperature and light; Water; Gravity; Wind; Pressure; Fire and many others.
The scope of the biophysical environment is all that is contained in the biosphere, which is that part of the Earth in which all life occurs. A biophysical environment is the complex of biotic, climatic, and edaphic factors that act upon an organism and determine its form and survival, and morphs itself in the process. Ecosystems, of which there are numerous types and are a defined part of the biosphere, collectively make up the whole of the biosphere. Within an ecosystem there are habitats in which an organism (including human beings) exists. (Wikipedia)

In the same manner, Mercy contains all the elements that are necessary to the transformation of humans into God’s children.
Let’s look at its core components.
First and foremost, Mercy exists within a universe called Love – God IS Love. This is the anchor and longevity of this amazing environment: It is ETERNAL! Because it exists in the Eternal One that God is. So we can say assuredly that Mercy is a product of Love.
Mercy has a specific purpose: Facilitate and assure the transformation of humans into children of God! So let’s look at it’s components and how they accomplish that purpose.

One of the key components of Mercy is Grace. GRACE is to the Mercy environment what Air is to the Earth’s environment. Air is indispensable for every aspect of life on Earth. So it is with Grace; without it life as a child of God is impossible! Let’s take a moment to introduce ourselves into the understanding and receiving of Grace. By now, you have already tasted and proven it. But it is imperative that you possess at least a basic understanding of it, because without it you can not exist.
Grace forms part of an Ecosystem which is made up of all of the elements that provide and permit the introduction and transformation of a human into God’s nature. We can never and should never forget the facts about our human origin. We inherited a corrupt nature from Adam and Eve that has been faithfully and effectively passed on from one generation to the next. Our being, with it’s three main components: Spirit, Soul and Body have been nurtured and trained to operate under and within the human nature. We naturally want and do that which is opposite to God’s nature.
In comes Grace! It and its powerful ecosystem in which we find the vital provisions of Forgiveness; Justification; Peace; Truth; Life and Power (or the Living Way referred to in previous episodes which will take us to our Father!).

We will spend more time looking at each of these components individually. But for this episode, the important thing is for you to visualize yourself within this special environment where there are no demands placed upon you, no threats made against you, no expectations placed upon you! It is a place of REST! Yes! You have been brought in to the place where all is prepared and ready to receive you and to begin the process of making you compatible with your Father and Brother Jesus!
So dare to breathe in GRACE! Your mind may not understand yet, but your spirit and your soul will be relieved and the healing of your being will begin.

Imagine coming in from a hostile and threatening warlike environment to a place that is safe, where you will be served and cared for with perfection and you can loose all your worries and fears because you are SAFE! The enemy can not get you here! Your past can not harm you here! Your future is CERTAIN and GUARANTEED! You are NOW a child of God!
Listen to the words Jesus spoke in this regard:
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father who has given them to me is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hands. I and the Father are one.” (John 10:27-30 ESV)

Can you see yourself IN your Father’s hands? NO ONE CAN SNATCH YOU from there! So relax! Enjoy! and allow your Father to give you rest. Listen to Jesus again:
“Come to me, all who are labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:20-30 ESV)

It is time to loose your weariness and enter the rest prepared for you by your Father!

See you in our next episode!
